Until there is a cure for diabetes this is what we are doing to make a difference

  • Camp programs for Children and Families- Until there is a cure, there is camp!
  • Emergency insulin and diabetes supplies program
  • Community events, free diabetes screenings, workshops and information programs
  • Diabetic Children and Family Support Group- The DCAF Support Group in Las Vegas is a special and supportive environment for parents and children to learn about diabetes management. Features include: guest speakers, youth activities, special events and parties. These events take place the first Tuesday of the month. DCAF has helped ease the pain and frustration of newly diagnosed families. This group has created a forum for those affect by diabetes to come and share thoughts, ideas and ease suffering.
  • Continuing Education Programs for Healthcare Professionals
  • Free diabetes material
  • The Stanford University Chronic Disease Self-Management Program and Small Changes Big Rewards Wellness Program.
  • Support and assistance to other community agencies and organizations
  • Information on community, state, national and global resources including doctors, hospitals and other providers of diabetes services
  • Internet on-line information and search services.
  • Advocacy for issues pertaining to diabetes.
  • Injection Connections Teen Support Group- in Southern Nevada and Northern Nevada

The Nevada Diabetes Association seeks to educate, assist, inform, advocate, promote community awareness, and find local resources and information to help people with diabetes. Our services and programs are made possible through the generosity of individuals like you.
